Surface induced dissociation of benzene and benzene derivatives: Modifications of a time of flight apparatus

For surface induced dissociation experiments we modified a time-of flight apparatus containing a reflectron in order to diminish the influence of metastable ions formed in the field free region between the source and the collision surface and to select the precursor ion for the collision.
